representation of replication of virus is called viral growth curve.
Phases
of viral growth curve:
- Striking
: in this stage virus is reducing .the viruses are going to eclipse period
.
- Latent
period: In this stage there is no evidence of virus. Because in this stage
virus completely goes to eclipse period.
- Appearance:
Again the presence of virus demonstrated.
- Rising
period: Very rapidly number of viruses is increased. In this stage release
of virus occurs.

Attachment and penetration by parental virion
Uncrating of the viral genome
Early viral m RNA synthesis
Early viral protein synthesis
Viral genome replication
Late viral m RNA synthesis
Progeny virion assembly
Virion release from cell.
